Vegetação Inquieta (Restless Vegetation)

Vegetação Inquieta (Restless Vegetation) is an editorial project commissioned by CESAP (Centro de Estudos da Escola Superior Artística do Porto) and edited by Miguel Costa. My role in this publication was to develop the complete graphic design and layout, translating the book's core themes into a structured and engaging visual format.

The project demanded a meticulous editorial approach, as it navigates the intersections of artistic research and critical theory. My design process focused on creating a rhythmic flow between the textual content and the visual elements, ensuring that the layout supported the complexities of the research while maintaining a clean, contemporary aesthetic. Working closely with the editor, I managed everything from the initial typographic choices to the final technical preparations for print.

This commission from CESAP underscores my ongoing collaboration with academic and artistic institutions in Porto, further establishing my practice as a designer capable of handling dense, research-driven publications with both technical precision and artistic sensitivity.
