Enquanto Isso (In the Meantime) is a collective exhibition featuring the final works of the Master’s in Art and Design for the Public Space at the University of Porto. The exhibition serves as a public platform for students to present the artistic processes and outcomes resulting from their two-year research cycle.
In this context, I presented the projects Camera and Jogo (Game), as they represent the two primary pillars of my research. These works are the experimental core of my Master’s thesis, titled "Tempo e Imagem: Especulações e experimentações sobre o tempo na prática artística" (Time and Image: Speculations and experiments on time in artistic practice).
By exhibiting these pieces together, I aimed to demonstrate the dialogue between the technical manufacturing of time-capturing devices (the wooden pinhole cameras) and the interactive, modular exploration of temporal branching (the wooden blocks). The exhibition functioned as a physical synthesis of my investigation into how images and objects act as vessels for human memory and temporal perception.
