Commissioned by i2ADS (Research Institute in Art, Design and Society), this series of video essays documents the official opening and the three keynote lectures of the 16th SAR (Society for Artistic Research) International Conference on Artistic Research, held in Porto in 2025.
My role encompassed the complete audiovisual documentation, including multi-camera recording, sound management, and editing. A critical component of this project was the complex process of transcribing the lectures in English. This task required extensive academic research to accurately identify, verify, and contextualize the constant references to contemporary art theory, philosophy, and specific artistic research methodologies cited by the international speakers. The resulting video essays serve as a permanent digital archive for the global artistic research community, ensuring the dissemination of these pivotal academic contributions.
