This video demonstrates the final editorial object resulting from Topo(S)grafia, a transdisciplinary artistic creation held at Colina de Guadalupe, Braga. The project explores the "act of walking" as an aesthetic practice, drawing inspiration from Guy Debord’s Psychogeography and Albert Camus’s The Myth of Sisyphus. The publication serves as a formal record of the performance, which featured an original text by Gonçalo M. Tavares, narrated by Ivo Canelas, with musical creation by Nuno Aroso and Henrique Portovedo, and performances by Os Espacialistas.
As the project's official photographer, my work was focused on capturing the ephemeral dynamics between the human scale and the urban landscape, which were later translated into this physical medium. The editorial design, conceived by Gisela Rebelo de Faria, intends for the manipulation of the book itself to be a performative act, allowing a renewed experience of the action's immaterial heritage. This limited edition work synthesizes the symbiosis of place, space, matter, and sound into a tangible narrative device.
